Preparatory study Skatteverket Ukraine

The Swedish Tax Agency (STA) has applied to the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine for funding of SEK 1 046 000 to carry out the Preparatory study Skatteverket Ukraine in Ukraine during the period 2018-2019. STA has been part of the TADAT (Tax Administration Diagnostic and Assessment Tool) mission to Ukraine in February 2018. STA is willing to participate in a bigger program of institutional cooperation with the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The initial discussions between the STA and the SFS took place in Stockholm during the Conference on Capacity Building concerning Taxation on 30-31 May, 2018. In its turn, the SFS has announced the SFS Strategic Initiatives until 2020.The intervention aims at laying the foundation for designing a proposal for the program of institutional cooperation between the Swedish Tax Agency (STA) and the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) including expected results, risks, planned activities. The Swedish Tax Agency will implement the intervention. The intervention will be organised in 2 phases: phase 1 is to identify the areas of cooperation and assess the will for cooperation, and phase 2 is to develop the project document for further cooperation.The intervention's total budget is SEK 1 046 000. The intervention is solely financed by Sida.The activity period is 1.09.2018 - 31.01.2019The agreement period is 1.09.2018 - 31.07.2019
