EU TWINNING SWEDISH TAX AGENCY TANZANIA PHASE 1

By implementing this project Sida fulfills its mission in the instruction to be a contact point for authority cooperation (Twinning and Technical Assistance Information Exchange TAlEX) financed via the EU's aid budget (SFS 2010 1080). Swedishauthorities have an important mission to contribute to capacity development in Sida's partner countries which is underlined in the government's Strategy for capacity development partnerships and methods that support Agenda 2030 for sustainable development. Sida's support during phase 1 covers in addition to the fact finding mission also costs in connection with the preparation and presentation of the project proposal in the recipient country. This funding contributes to giving the Swedish Tax Agency the conditions to compile a project proposal in order to contribute to capacity building of related parts of Tanzania's public institutions.
