SWEDISH UKRAINIAN PARTNERSHIP FOR MODERN AND EFFICIENT TAX SERVICE 2020 2023 METS NEW FINCODE

Swedish Tax Agency has applied to Sida for funding of 20 174 816 SEK to carry out the Swedish Ukrainian Partnership for Modern and Efficient Tax Service METS during the period 2020 2022. The contribution was preceded by a preparatory phase during September 2018 December 2019. The overall objective of the project is to improve the tax administration capacity and contribute to a transformation of the STS into a more modern trustworthy effective and service oriented tax administration. The overall impacts pursued by the project will be increase in the level of tax revenues improvement of working environment and conditions ensuring the principles of efficiency equity fairness and integrity in the service of taxpayers strengthen the development of HR services modern leaders as role models with value founding and sustainable leadership employees with responsibility and capability of self development. The project will focus on two key areas 1. Leadership and co workership to enhance an efficient and continuous human resource management (HRM) in STS (enhancing methodology for evaluation and continuous training and also training programs concerning cultural change attitudes and change management) 2. Taxpayer's interaction including both physical customer meeting places (contact centre and taxpayer service office) and digital meeting places such as e cabinet and perhaps other e services.
