Overview

The Cercle de Réflexion et d’Études des Dirigeants des Administrations Fiscales (CREDAF) endorses the commitments of the Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) and has joined the ranks of the ATI´s supporting organisations.

The CREDAF is an exchange platform which brings together tax administrations from 30 member countries.  Its foundation followed two informal meetings requested by the French Directorate-General of Taxes in 1972 and 1978, where a dozen francophone African countries participated and subsequently decided to officially consolidate the organisation in 1982. Yearly, the CREDAF co-coordinates about 10 international events, including symposiums, seminars, task groups and other thematic meetings, which are alternately organised by a member.

The CREDAF has the following member countries:

Algeria, Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Democratic Rep. of the Congo, Djibouti, France, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, Magadascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Togo, Tunisia.
