Governance Improvement National Provident Fund

The Samoa Governance and Economic Stability initiative supports the Government of Samoa to achieve sustained macroeconomic stability and improved governance, and specifically targets: improved Government Effectiveness rating in World Bank Governance Indicators (SDS Goal 6); improved Voice and Accountability rating in World Bank Governance Indicators; sustained macroeconomic stability (SDS Goal 1) [positive IMF Article IV Assessments]; and reduced levels of poverty (MDG 1). The total value of this initiative is $21.1 million over 7 years, starting 2010-11.
