The programme development objective is to improve effectiveness, transparency and quality in public finance management in 6 states in Nigeria.

The project supports the development and modernization of the PFM systems of participating states towards improving the quality of management of public financial resources across 6 states. Specifically, the project supports Fiscal planning; Budget reforms; Standardization of PFM procedures, processes, and reporting; Domestic Revenue Mobilisation; Procurement, Audit and other PFM activities.
