International Monetary Fund Revenue Mobilisation Trust Fund

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Revenue Mobilisation Trust Fund (RMFT) will deliver support to Australia's developing partner countries in the Indo-Pacific region to strengthen tax policies and administration and engage with the international tax agenda. The RMTF has two primary objectives: a) to support comprehensive tax system reform in developing partner countries, including redesigning tax policy frameworks and strengthening revenue administration core functions; and b) to provide targeted support for reforms through multi-year engagement in developing partner countries. The total value of this investment is $10.6 million over 6 years, starting 2015-16.
