TEACHING ACTIVITY OECD GLOBAL RELATIONS PROGRAMME

The lecture by the Italian country expert was given in the webinar on Leveraging Carbon Pricing for Sustainable Development in the context of the OECD Global Relations Programme on Taxation. In particular the goal of the OECD platform is to hold capacity building activities to equip tax officials from developing countries on topics related to international taxation. The lecture focused on building a shared understanding on the topic of carbon pricing taxation through the provision of a sound theoretical background and the presentation of national case studies. Beneficiaries were tax officials coming from Costa Rica Peru Colombia Guatemala Tunisia Turkey Jamaica Kenya Madagascar and Indonesia.
