The project Improving Revenue Collection and Reducing IFF Risks from Gold Green Energy Transition and Rare Earth Minerals has numerous outputs research to identify gaps in beneficial ownership (BO) frameworks creation of materials for knowledge building advocacy direct advocacy with government officials engagement with a range of stakeholders (private sector CSOs journalists global regional groups African and non African govt's) in meetings on natural resource and trade integrity and journalist training in investigative techniques on IFFs.The project has four strategic outcomes 1) improved corporate and financial transparency in the mining sector (ex. creation of BO regulations registries) 2) increased revenue collection and supply chain integrity in the mining sector 3) regional advocacy and 4) global advocacy (in both cases to ensure improved DRM and reduced IFFs).Partners include Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) and Haki Rasilimali in Tanzania as well as Association for Women in Energy and Extractives (AWEIK) in Kenya.
