Mongolia joins the Addis Tax Initiative

With Mongolia as new patner country, the Addis Tax Initiative continues to grow and looks forward to actively cooperating with all 61 members to catalyse domestic revenue mobilisation for achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) is pleased to welcome the newest ATI member Mongolia and acknowledge their commitment to increasing domestic revenue mobilisation (DRM) towards sustainable development. The ATI continues to grow, now including 25 partner countries, 20 development partners and 16 supporting organisations.

Mongolia has signalled its ambition for tax reform in recent years by joining other complementary initiatives, such as the Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit-Sharing (BEPS), the Global Forum on Transparency and the Exchange of Information, and the Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) Initiative. Mongolia has also recently implemented various tax reforms and is looking for support in the implementation phase of these policies.

The ATI looks forward to actively cooperating with Mongolia and all other partner countries, development partners and supporting organisations to catalyse DRM to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
