ATI & OECD FTA WORKSHOP – DIGITALISING TAX ADMINISTRATIONS

Continuing the workshop series on the Digital Transformation Maturity Model (DTMM), the final virtual workshop for revenue administrations will take place on Thursday, 25 May 2023, from 15:00 to 17:00 CEST. This workshop series is organised by the Secretariats of the Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) and the OECD’s Forum on Tax Administration (FTA).

The aim of the workshop series is to support revenue administrations from ATI partner countries in their process of digitalisation and digital transformation by encouraging and enabling them to use the DTMM for self-assessment. This may give them a better understanding of their digital maturity and support them in shaping their digitalisation strategy.

The first workshop, which took place in October 2022, prepared participants for the self-assessment based on the DTMM. The second workshop held in March 2023 focused on the exchange of experiences with the DTMM-based self-assessment among the participating revenue administrations. The third and final workshop will address how to use the results of the DTMM in the context of shaping a digitalisation and digital transformation strategy; it will be moderated by the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF).
