Launch of Volume 2 of the African Multidisciplinary Tax Journal (AMTJ)

Following the success of Africa’s first ever multidisciplinary tax journal, ATAF is launching volume 2 of the African Multidisciplinary Tax Journal (AMTJ) on 24 May 2022.

The AMTJ is an annual, applied scientific journal which publishes original high-quality research papers that use analytical, empirical and contemporary methods across the whole spectrum of taxation research. While the first volume touched on topics ranging from value added tax, tax compliance, tax and gender, digitialisation etc., the second edition addresses several topics in the field of taxation including the use of technology in African tax administrations, taxation and income inequality, country specific studies on property tax in Africa, informal sector taxation etc.
