Somalia Country Fund For Capacity Development in Macroeconomic Policies and Statistics ¿ Phase II

Phase II of the Country Fund will cover the period March 2021 to April 2025. It will finance capacity development in five areas (i) deepening the development of a robust macroeconomic framework and policies (ii) improving the management and operations of the central bank (iii) continued modernization of tax and customs policy and administration (iv) continued strengthening of public financial management (PFM) public investment management and public debt management 1 and (v) enhancing the capacity for the production and dissemination of macroeconomic data. The program will be adjusted flexibly in coordination with the authorities and other providers in response to changing priorities and circumstances and in order to maximize synergies and avoid overlaps. The assistance provided will build on the gains achieved in Phase I with clear objectives and deliverables. It will also support the implementation of reforms under the ECF program and to reach the CP.
