Welcome to the registration form for the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), co-hosted by the South Centre, Germany and Nigeria. 

The side event will take place on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, in Seville, Spain, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CEST (UTC+2). Participation in the event is exclusively in-person and reserved to individuals registered for the main FfD4 Conference. To attend the ATI side event, please complete the registration form below. After registering, you will receive further details on the venue, programme, and other details.

How your data is used

Data protection statement for attendees of the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development on storage and use of personal data by the ATI Secretariat, facilitated by the International Tax Compact (ITC) and implemented by GIZ.

"I consent to my personal data (name, gender, organisation, department, position and email address) being stored for a period of 12 months following the completion of the purpose for which it was collected so that the ATI Secretariat can contact me regarding the upcoming ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development and potential follow-up events during the period described."

  • The data will be used solely for the purpose of communication on the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development and potential follow-up events by the ATI Secretariat and the co-host organisations.
  • The ATI Secretariat, facilitated by ITC and implemented by GIZ, is authorised to forward your data (name, email, phone) to the above-mentioned organisations/entities to be processed for the purposes of communication on the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development and potential follow-up events. Before passing data to other persons or institutions outside the ATI Secretariat and the above-mentioned organisations/entities - even in anonymised form - the individual responsible will personally contact the people involved.
  • The legal basis for processing the data is consent to this statement.
  • The data will be used exclusively for the purposes described in the statement. Any other use will always be subject to further consent. Your data will not be used for advertising purposes.

Rights of data subjects

You are entitled to enquire about your personal data, have the data corrected if necessary, and ask for processing to be restricted or your data to be erased. The data will then be removed from our system. The consent given to store and use personal data can also be revoked at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing up to the time of revocation.
In the case of revocation, it is not possible to participate in the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development. To revoke your consent, please send an email to: secretariat@taxcompact.net

Photography consent

I hereby confirm that I am aware that pictures and video recordings will be taken during the ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development and later shared with ATI members. By participating, I give my consent to photos and videos of myself being created and used by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for the following purposes: Publication as part of GIZ’s public relations work (e.g. in event documentation, flyers, brochures, GIZ’s websites and social media channels).

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to inquire at any time about the type of data processing, and to have the data corrected if they are incorrect, or to demand that their processing be restricted or that the data be deleted. Furthermore, you may withdraw your consent at any time to use of the photos and video recordings. Please email withdrawal of your consent to secretariat@taxcompact.net. 
This does not affect the lawfulness of any processing of your data before your consent was withdrawn. 

If you believe the data processing to be unlawful, you may contact GIZ’s data protection officer (datenschutzbeauftragter@giz.de), or lodge a complaint with the responsible data protection supervisory authority – the Federal Data Protection Commissioner (BfDI) (poststelle@bfdi.bund.de).

Anti-Harassment policy

The ATI side event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development and its organisers and hosts are dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. Workshop participants violating these rules will be asked to leave the conference at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion.
  • Inappropriate physical contact.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Sexual images in public spaces.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.

Enforcement

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, event organisers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the General Assembly. Event organisers may take action to redress anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting the event or making the environment hostile for any participants.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social activities.
