- Applying the Tax Gap Toolkit in Indonesia – An In-Progress Country Experience
Presentation by Mr Himawan Saputro and colleagues (Ministry of Finance, Indonesia) on Indonesia’s experience in applying the Tax Gap Toolkit. The input will focus on practical implementation steps, institutional and methodological challenges encountered, and how these were addressed. The presentation will also reflect on how preliminary results are being interpreted and used internally.
- Estimating VAT and CIT Gaps in Indonesia – Analytical Perspectives
Presentation by Grzegorz Poniatowski on the recent World Bank analysis of VAT and CIT gaps in Indonesia he co-authored. The presentation will focus on the analytical approach, key methodological choices, and selected findings, providing a perspective on tax gap estimation in Indonesia.
- Operational Planning for the Community of Interest
Discussion on the next steps for the CoI’s work, including future topics, meeting formats, and organisational arrangements.
- Any Other Business (AOB)
In addition, we would like to welcome expressions of interest for the role of Vice-Chair of the Community of Interest, to take over at the Spring meeting (March 2026). Colleagues interested in supporting the strategic direction and continuity of the CoI’s work are encouraged to come forward.
