ATI & OECD FTA WORKSHOP SERIES ON DIGITALISATION OF REVENUE ADMINISTRATIONS
As a follow-up of the webinar on the Digital Transformation Maturity Model (DTMM) held in March 2022, in which the OECD’s Forum on Tax Administration (FTA) presented the DTMM, with some practical insights on its application from the Armenian revenue administration, the Secretariats of the Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) and the FTA are organising a virtual workshop series for revenue administrations from ATI partner countries that confirmed their interest in implementing the DTMM.
The aim of the workshop series is to support revenue administrations in their process of digitalisation and digital transformation by encouraging and enabling them to use the DTMM for self-assessment, as this may give them a better understanding of their digital maturity and support them in shaping their strategy for digitalisation and digital transformation.
The first workshop, which took place in October 2022, prepared participants for facilitating self-assessment based on the DTMM. The second workshop, which will take place on Monday 27 March 2023 from 15:00 to 17:00 (CET), will focus on the exchange of experiences on DTMM-based self-assessment of the revenue administrations engaged in this process. The last fixture of the series will use the results of the DTMM as reference for further guidance on how to shape the digitalisation and digital transformation strategy within revenue administrations.
