ATAF Guide on the Implementation of an Effective Taxation of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) Regime in Africa

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) is launching and disseminating its "Guide on the Implementation of an Effective Taxation of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) Regime in Africa" on 31 March 2026 at 10:00. 

The effective taxation of HNWIs is increasingly recognised as a critical pillar of domestic resource mobilisation across Africa. In response, ATAF has developed a practical, Africa-focused guide that provides administrations with actionable approaches to strengthening legal, administrative, and institutional frameworks for taxing HNWIs while also addressing the political economy and stakeholder considerations associated with these reforms.

This webinar will present key insights from the guide, share implementation experiences, and provide a platform for dialogue among African tax administrations on advancing fair and effective taxation systems.
