Addis to Seville: The new Declaration on DRM
This roundtable will provide a platform to discuss the draft of the new ATI “Seville Declaration on DRM”, as a means to implement actions in the area of Domestic Resource Mobilisation (DRM), aligned with the proposed outcomes of Fourth Financing for Development Conference (FFD4).
The development of the declaration is led by a multi-stakeholder Task Force comprised of ATI members. The roundtable will be an opportunity for stakeholders to share insights, voice concerns, and offer recommendations to shape a forward-looking agenda for DRM cooperation.
The FFD4 in Spain this year will mark 10 years since governments committed to “step up” collective DRM efforts in Addis Ababa. Before, and particularly since then, DRM has been central to government efforts to finance their own development objectives.
Interested parties are kindly requested to contact the ATI Secretariat at secretariat@taxcompact.net for participation inquiries.
