2027 ATI General Assembly
On behalf of the ATI Steering Committee, the ATI Secretariat is pleased to announce that the 2027 ATI General Assembly will take place from 8 to 10 June 2027 in Accra, Ghana. The General Assembly will be held as a three-day in-person event under the theme Strengthening tax systems in the contemporary development financing landscape.
The 2027 General Assembly comes at the time where partner countries continue to face an increasingly complex financing landscape. Despite the progresses achieved, multiple challenges ranging from slowing economic growth, high debt burdens, climate-related shocks, geopolitical instability, declining official development assistance (ODA), and narrow tax bases stretch their public financial systems.
These challenges underline the need for strengthen international cooperation for better tax systems that work for people and advance the Sustainable Development Goals. As such, the GA will bring together ATI members to exchange on progress and challenges in implementing the ATI Seville Declaration on Domestic Revenue Mobilisation and its four actions. It will provide space for policy dialogue, technical exchange and networking, while facilitating cooperation around key DRM issues that are particularly relevant to ATI partner countries.
