African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) under the ATAF Women in Tax Network (ATWIN) will launch a new  gender research paper themed “as-is analysis”: Are tax policies developed to reduce gender inequality in ATAF member countries.

The paper examines the role that tax legislation plays in addressing gender inequality in Africa and how Africa can design better tax policies to reduce gender inequality and enhance women’s participation in domestic resource mobilisation.
