LAO PDR COMPETITIVENESS AND TRADE

DFAT provides A$4.5 million to fund the World Bank implemented Lao Competitiveness and Trade Project (LCTP) between 1 January 2019 and 30 June 2025 which will build on the work of Trade Development Facility Phase I and II. The LCTP will simplify business regulations facilitate trade and improve firm level competitiveness in the Lao PDR. The primary Government partner will be the MoIC but the LCTP will also work with other important line ministries such as the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) as well as the private sector.
