OTHER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Georgia and the Italian Revenue Agency of the Republic of Italy have agreed upon a cooperation project for technical support in tax field in particular on the matters of transfer pricing aggressive tax planning and tax fraud within the framework of OECD UNDP Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) initiative. The cooperation project is intended for a period of time of 18 months starting from the signing of the Memorandum of understanding that took place in Tblisi on 27 April 2022. The Italian experts will work closely with Georgian tax officials on current audit cases to transfer knowledge best practices and skills.
