Global Relations Programme (GRP)

The OECD's GRP is an annual series of 70-80 interactive learning events covering a broad range of tax policy and administration topics that are delivered by the OECD, primarily to participants from non-OECD economies, including developing countries. The purpose of the programme is to engage all interested countries in a dialogue on the development and implementation of global standards and guidelines on taxation. The CRA leverages the OECD GRP for its capacity building efforts by participating in, on average, 4-6 events each year. In consultation with the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, the CRA identifies needs and key areas where its expertise would add the most value. It should be noted that the CRA reduced its participation in the GRP by 50% in the last 3 years due to travel restrictions and limited availability of resources and expertise.
