Technical Assistance for Revenue Administration and Revenue Policy - Honduras

The project supports the Government of Hondurass newly established revenue administration (Servicio de Administracin de Rentas, or SAR) with implementation of anti-corruption measures. OTA will assist SAR with implementing initial internal affairs functions, which will include designing and creating a Revenue Inspector General office, and developing and establishing the internal audit and investigation procedures for this office. Advisors will also coordinate with SAR counterparts in preparation for the start of project activities in Honduras under the Department of States U.S. Strategy for Engagement in Central America, which will expand on the anti-corruption measures as well as develop SAR's capacity for data analysis, information systems security, and general audit.
